Keep Your Heart
I Am Safe Now
Grateful to Be Here
Three so far: Grateful to Be Here: A Gentle Way to Feel More Present, More Hopeful, and More at Home in Your Life; I Am Safe Now: Healing Emotional Wounds, Breaking Unhealthy Patterns, and Reclaiming Peace, Self-Worth, and Self-Love; and Keep Your Heart: A Gentle Guide to Choosing Peace, Protecting Your Joy, and Creating a Life You Love — No Matter What Changes. Together they form The Returning Library.
There is no wrong order. Many readers begin with Grateful to Be Here to slow down and become more present, then move to I Am Safe Now for the deeper work of healing, and Keep Your Heart for what comes after — learning to walk through change without losing yourself. But each book stands fully on its own. You can start wherever you are.
If life feels like it's moving too fast and you want to slow down and reconnect with the present, begin with Grateful to Be Here. If you feel ready to look, gently, at old emotional wounds, patterns, and self-worth, begin with I Am Safe Now. If you've already been doing some of that work and life has brought unexpected change — a new season, a shift you didn't plan for — and you want to move forward without losing who you are, Keep Your Heart is for you. If more than one of those sounds true, that's normal. They were written to be companions.
The Returning Library is the name for Jason Grand's complete body of books — currently three volumes: Grateful to Be Here, I Am Safe Now, and Keep Your Heart. Each book is a different point of entry into the same gentle work: slowing down, healing, and returning to yourself — again and again. A fourth volume is in progress.
Grateful to Be Here is a gentle self-help book about presence, gratitude, and learning to slow down in a life that keeps moving fast. It is written for anyone who feels like life is passing by before they can fully enjoy it — always planning, always preparing, always waiting for things to settle. The book is a quiet reminder that this moment, ordinary and unfinished as it is, is still worthy of your full attention. Available on Amazon at amazon.com/dp/B0GK6YC5LW.
I Am Safe Now is a gentle self-help book about emotional healing, self-worth, and breaking unhealthy patterns. It is written for anyone who is emotionally exhausted — overthinking, people pleasing, or struggling to understand why certain situations affect them so deeply. The book helps readers understand where those patterns came from and how to move forward with peace, self-worth, and healthy love. Available on Amazon at amazon.com/dp/B0H21PHT17.
Keep Your Heart is a gentle self-help book about staying open after heartbreak, loss, or unexpected life change. It is written for anyone who has been hurt and is wondering if staying open is even worth the risk anymore. The book explores the difference between protecting yourself and closing yourself off — and shows readers how to move forward without losing the best parts of themselves. Available on Amazon at amazon.com/dp/B0HDY9RC17.
