Which One of These Sounds Like You?
Sometimes you do not need to read an entire self-help book. You just need to read one line that makes you feel like someone finally gets it.
If you have landed here, something brought you. Maybe you are searching. Maybe you are tired. Maybe you are doing okay but quietly wondering if okay is all there is.
Here are three things I hear from people who end up finding these books. See if one of them sounds like you.
You feel like life is moving too fast and you cannot catch up.
You are not unhappy exactly. But you are rushing. Always onto the next thing before you have finished being in this one. You know you should feel grateful but you cannot quite locate it. It feels like life is happening slightly ahead of you and you are always a few steps behind.
If that is you, Grateful to Be Here was written for this feeling. Not for toxic positivity or morning routines. For the person who needs permission to slow down and discover that the life they are already living is more than they thought.
You are emotionally exhausted and you are not sure why.
You overthink. You people please. You absorb other people's moods and feelings like it is your job. You react more deeply than you think you should, and then you feel bad about reacting. You have tried to just move on from things and somehow end up back in the same situations.
You are not broken. You are someone who adapted. And those patterns can change.
I Am Safe Now is for anyone who is ready to understand where their emotional patterns came from and begin, gently, to change them. Not by becoming hard. By finally feeling safe.
You have been hurt and you are trying to figure out how to stay open.
Something changed. A relationship. A chapter. A version of yourself you thought you knew. And now you are standing on the other side of it wondering if staying open is even worth it. Wondering if you can trust yourself, trust other people, trust that good things are still possible.
They are. Keep Your Heart is for the person in that in-between place. Learning to protect their peace without closing themselves off. Learning that a gentle heart is not a weakness.
All three books are available on Amazon and free to read on Kindle Unlimited.
If one of them sounds like where you are right now, start there. You do not have to be ready. You just have to be willing to look.
Jason Grand is the author of Grateful to Be Here, I Am Safe Now, and Keep Your Heart.
